Tomasz Alen Kopera: an artist with a passion for environmental protection

The groundbreaking cooperation between the Save Wild Cats Foundation and the renowned artist Tomasz Alen Kopera resulted in the creation of a unique work – “Anthropocene“. This masterpiece sends a strong message about the human impact on the natural environment, combining the artist’s vision with the Foundation’s mission.

Known for his ability to combine realism with surrealism, Tomasz Alen Kopera in his latest work focuses on the topic of anthropogenic impact on the Earth. “Anthropocene” not only delights as a work of art, but also serves as a thoughtful social commentary, presenting the consequences of humanity’s actions that force wild animals to leave their natural habitats. Among these animals is the Flat-headed cat (Prionailurus planiceps), one of the rarest cats in the world, whose image in the painting draws attention to the critical situation of this species.

Even though this is Tomasz Alen Kopera’s first cooperation with the Foundation, his passion and artistic talent perfectly harmonize with the goals and excellently show this very important social problem. This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to raise awareness of human-made threats to our planet.

Przełomowa współpraca między Fundacją Save Wild Cats Foundation, a renomowanym artystą Tomaszem Alenem Koperą zaowocowała stworzeniem wyjątkowego dzieła – “Antropocen“. To arcydzieło stanowi silne przesłanie o wpływie człowieka na środowisko naturalne, łącząc wizję artysty z misją Fundacji.

Znany ze swojej umiejętności łączenia realizmu z surrealizmem, Tomasz Alen Kopera w swoim najnowszym dziele skupia się na temacie antropogenicznego wpływu na Ziemię. “Antropocen” nie tylko zachwyca jako dzieło sztuki, ale również służy jako przemyślany komentarz społeczny, przedstawiając konsekwencje działań ludzkości, które zmuszają dzikie zwierzęta do opuszczenia ich naturalnych siedlisk. Wśród tych zwierząt znajduje się Kot Kusy, jeden z najrzadszych kotów na świecie, którego wizerunek na obrazie zwraca uwagę na krytyczną sytuację tego gatunku.

Mimo że to pierwsza współpraca Tomasza Alena Kopery z Fundacją, to jego pasja i talent artystyczny idealnie harmonizują z celami i perfekcyjnie pokazują ten jakże ważny problem społeczny. Ta współpraca podkreśla nasze wspólne zobowiązanie do zwiększania świadomości o zagrożeniach ze strony człowieka dla naszej planety.

Niech to wspólne dzieło zainspiruje nas wszystkich do refleksji nad koniecznością ochrony naszej planety dla przyszłych pokoleń.

The charity auction is open until January 31, 2024, and the winner will have the opportunity to meet the artist and pick it up in person along with a dedication.
